Traffic isn’t the problem, the site is
Most sites I audit don’t have a traffic problem, they have a conversion problem. People are landing on the page, and then leaving without calling, filling out a form, or buying anything. Let’s talk about why.
No clear next step
A visitor lands on your homepage and has to hunt for how to actually contact you. If the phone number’s buried, the form’s three scrolls down, or there’s no obvious “here’s what to do next,” most people just leave instead of hunting.
Too much talking about you, not enough about them
A lot of homepages open with “Welcome to [Company Name], we’ve been serving the community since…” That’s not what a visitor came for. They want to know if you solve their problem, fast. Lead with that.
Slow load times
Every extra second a page takes to load costs you visitors before they even see your pitch. A beautiful site that loads slow on a phone is losing people who never even get the chance to be convinced.
No trust signals where they matter
Reviews, real photos, licenses, guarantees, these need to sit near the decision point, not buried on a separate page nobody visits. Trust has to be visible right where someone’s about to decide.
The fix
Audit your own site like a stranger would see it. Clear next step, lead with the customer’s problem, fast load, trust signals near the ask. Fix those four things before spending another dollar trying to get more traffic to the same leaky page.
Want your site actually converting the traffic it gets? That’s what our web design service is built to fix.
