Google’s three real questions about your site

Core Web Vitals sound technical, but they’re really just Google asking three simple questions, how fast does the page load, how quickly can someone interact with it, and does the layout jump around while it’s loading.

Why it matters to you, not just Google

These aren’t arbitrary metrics Google invented to be difficult. They map to genuine frustration points for real visitors, a slow load, a button that doesn’t respond, a page that shifts right as you’re about to tap something.

What usually causes the problems

Uncompressed images, too many scripts loading at once, ads or embeds that shift content around as they load in.

You don’t need to be technical to fix most of it

Compressing images and cleaning up unused plugins solves a large chunk of the issue for most small business sites, without touching any code.
