The lead you never even knew you lost
A broken contact form doesn’t announce itself. Visitors fill it out, hit submit, see a confirmation, and the message never actually arrives. Nobody knows anything’s wrong, not the visitor, not the business.
Common causes
Email settings that silently fail after a hosting change. A plugin update that broke the connection. Messages routing to spam without anyone noticing. All of these can persist for months undetected.
Test it yourself, regularly
Submit your own form every few months and confirm the message actually lands in your inbox, not just that the confirmation screen shows up. The confirmation screen showing doesn’t mean it worked.
Add a backup
A simple notification, a second email address, or a dashboard log gives you a way to catch a silent failure before it costs you real leads.
Want your forms actually verified, not just assumed working? That’s part of our website care plans.
