Let me pop the hood on something free and underused

Search for your own service right now. Look at the ads that show up. Those are your competitors telling you, in public, exactly what keywords they’re bidding on, what offer they’re leading with, and what landing page they’re sending traffic to. That’s competitive intelligence sitting right there, free.

What to actually look at

The headline tells you their primary keyword target. The description tells you their value prop (or lack of one). The URL tells you what page they think converts best. Taken together, three competitors’ ads give you a rough map of what the market considers worth paying for.

What it tells you about your own positioning

If every competitor ad says “free estimate” and yours doesn’t, that’s worth knowing. If everyone’s advertising speed and you’re advertising quality, either you’ve found a differentiation gap or you’re missing the signal about what customers actually want.

The move:

Search your top three service keywords, screenshot the ads, and compare their headlines, offers, and landing pages to yours. Ten minutes, zero cost, real insight into what the market is doing that you’re not. That’s it.
